Barbie's Formals was established in 1986 opening as a wedding gown retailer. Over the years, it eventually became a retailer for a variety of gowns. Barbara Norris is the owner and founder of Barbie's Formals. She began the store out of her passion for style and elegance. Barbie's Formals is located in Milton, West Virginia. The store provides dresses for all ages. Barbie's has a large selection of solids, prints, long gowns, short gowns, pageant gowns, and wedding gowns. The employees at Barbie's pride themsevles on finding the customer the perfect dress.

Barbie and employees travel to Atlanta, Georgia to look at dresses for the season. They pick out the gowns according to the arising styles. They try to look for that perfect gown for a teen, a future bride, or any woman seeking a gown for that special occasion.

Barbie's Formals also participates in fashion shows in order to reveal the new dresses for the year. Barbie's supports locals schools and the community.
